Inside the build

Material Guide

Every Wick piece begins with purpose. Explore the fabrics, finishes and techniques behind our streetwear, and discover what gives each garment its feel, structure and identity.

Core materials

The foundation of every piece

Cotton

Cotton is a breathable natural fibre valued for its softness, durability and everyday comfort. It forms the foundation of many Wick tees and streetwear staples, creating a clean surface for bold graphics while remaining comfortable against the skin.

Why we use it

Comfortable, dependable and made for repeat wear.

Care

Wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle and dry in the shade. Always follow the care label on your garment.

Cotton fleece

Cotton fleece combines a smooth outer face with a soft brushed interior. It gives hoodies and heavier layers warmth, structure and a premium feel without sacrificing everyday comfort.

Why we use it

Soft warmth, a strong silhouette and effortless layering.

Care

Wash inside out with similar colours in cold water. Reshape while damp and air dry naturally in the shade.

Blended fabrics

Selected Wick pieces may use carefully considered fibre blends to improve shape retention, movement, durability or comfort. The exact composition is displayed on each product page and garment label.

Why we use them

To balance comfort with the performance and structure each design demands.

Care

Always follow the individual garment label, as care requirements depend on the specific blend.

Print and finish

How the statement takes shape

Screen printing

Screen printing builds artwork through carefully applied layers of ink, producing strong colour, sharp detail and a finish designed to hold its presence. It is ideal for the bold Wick graphics that define a piece at first glance.

Protect the print

Turn the garment inside out before washing. Use cold water and mild detergent. Avoid bleach, tumble drying and ironing directly over the artwork.

Digital garment printing

Digital printing allows detailed artwork, gradients and colour transitions to be reproduced with precision. We use it where a design calls for expressive detail and a wider spectrum of colour.

Protect the print

Wash cold and inside out using mild detergent. Air dry away from direct sunlight and never iron directly over the graphic.

Embroidery

Embroidery gives the Wick identity dimension, texture and a refined finish. Each stitched detail is designed to become part of the garment rather than simply sit on its surface.

Protect the finish

Avoid pulling loose threads. Spot clean caps and embroidered accessories gently, then allow them to dry naturally in their original shape.

Structure and detail

The parts that shape the fit

Ribbing

Ribbed trims add stretch and structure at necklines, cuffs and hems. They help a garment sit cleanly, recover its shape and remain comfortable through movement.

Care

Avoid excessive pulling and high heat. Fold heavier garments for storage to protect their shoulders, cuffs and neckline.

Threads, seams and trims

A garment is only as strong as the details holding it together. Stitching, seams, drawcords, closures and labels are chosen to support the fit, function and overall finish of every Wick piece.

Maintenance

Repair loose stitching early and never pull loose threads. For anything beyond a simple fix, speak with a trusted clothing repairer.

Responsibility

Wear more. Waste less.

Made to stay in rotation

We believe the most valuable garment is one that continues to be worn. Care for your Wick pieces, repair them when needed and give them another life through resale, donation or responsible textile recycling when they no longer belong in your wardrobe.

Our approach

Choose with intention. Wear with confidence. Keep it moving.

Chosen for comfort. Built for movement. Finished with unmistakable Wick attitude.
